I'm a first time Cornish X raiser. We couldn't get them into the processors at 8 weeks so i reduced their feed because they'll be going in at about 10 weeks old.

So as of now, my 50 birds are averaging 4 pounds each at 7 weeks of age. Are they too little or too big for having only 3 weeks left?

And also, what is the best way to feed them? I've been feeding them twice a day via throughs. Some places say feed continuously and take the feed away at night.

Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

we were told about .5lbs of feed per bird per day

I just fill my 11lb feeder up half full in the morning when I let them out and then again half full at night when I put them in
I also make them walk for there food and water or they dont move at all - place food at one end and water at the other
