We got her last night. And we believe that she is a he. It looks like they ground down spurs and clipped tail feathers. Is that legal?

could she be an aracauna im not familiar with the breed but aracaunas are rumpless give her some treats or something even if it is a he, poor thing looks like a dog chewed on him for a little while.

do you know the person you got it from? did you ask questions as to why he was like that?

No we got there late and only saw her\\him when the bidding started. It also was crowing this morning and was trying to kill our cornish crosses which are mainly roosters. We have never been there before or done it now we know better. He doesn't really mind handling or our hens. Poor thing. We called the sale barn they offered our money back but it was our mistake for not checking it out so he'll either go to freezer camp or be our #1 don't know yet. We aren't really hard about our principal purpose the chickens are here to be enjoyed and be productive we'll just see where he fits in.
