can anyone tell me the breed and thoughts on the sex

i recently had to take one of my chickens back as its a male,well we have 2,but im keeping one to see how he goes with noise,we got 2 more females(as the male was free)but were unsure of the breeds,the women didnt know.(infact she didnt even know where one of them came from,it just appeared)she just said theyre marans.

Keep in mind I'm blind as a bat. LOL

It looks like the first is a splash Marans and the second could be either a black or black copper. All of my BCMs have coppering in the hackles, but I've seen some that have none.

Can't tell with the second one but does she has feathered shanks?

Fit one looks a lot like my blue maran. Second one looks like a black copper that has not gotten the Cooper hue on the neck yet

The second one sort of looks like the blue gal I posted on here a few days ago, asking what she was. I was told possible a blue orpington or a blue EE. Here is my girl...see if you think they look similar.

I think mine might be a little lighter in color. Whatever they are, they sure are pretty!

HI,

The first is splash..Probably marans but am unsure about the leg color.
My splash marans has yellow legs............also, my black coopers get
more coloring on thier necks as they develop.
Very pretty chickens............
