Hey all! I adopted four ducklings ; Sonic, Mousey, Fatty Paddy and Little Bo peep and they’ve gotten so big over the past month. I’m really eager to know their gender as I’m still calling them they and himshe’s šŸ˜‚ can anyone tell me what to look for at age 5-6 weeks? They just about have all feathers and everyone is brown with orange legs. One quacks pretty deep the rest still meep meep.
I’ve attached what I could to thread

Females should have a noticeable voice change by now, making peep-honks and an occasional loud quack!
Males should have little to no voice change and still be making their baby peep.

If you can upload a video of their voices to YouTube and link it here, I can tell you genders for sure.

I’m only hearing male sounds in this video.. which one is making the deep quack?
I’m not 100% sure as they don’t do it often. Just when they’re walking around I hear a deep quack. I know it’s only one out the bunch that does it. I’ll investigate more when they wake up from Nappies

@KathiQuacks found her!
Now I’m going to have to rehome 2 ducks šŸ˜ž the ratio is 3:1
Oh, yeah, that’s a girl for sure. I know, it’s unfortunate having to rehome..
If you have the space for it, you could also potentially keep 2 drakes in their own flock and your 1 hen, 1 drake in another flock. You’d still have to watch for aggression, though.
