Thank you! We recently sold our house and I was lucky enough that the woman agreed to take care of them for me until our new home is ready which will be in a few weeks. I can't wait to get them home. Maybe you can give me a little advice on the move. I have a total of 22 and they are in 3 sperate pins, they can all see each other and they share the same coop. When I move I'm only going to have one coop with a very large run so I hoping that if I move them in the evening around roosting time and put them in the coop that they'll be ok and not tell the difference that there all now in the same coop and run.Agreed! One rooster is more than plenty. In fact you may need about 5 more hens to keep him from overbreeding your hens. Roosters do tend to be a bit, er, randy.Also I only have one rooster.
