Can anyone tell me what breed this is?

Good call. That is another possibility, though I have never seen or researched them enough to know how large they are or their egg color, I just know they are Birchin colored, not Blue as their name says and they are a rare breed, but are sold by a few hatcheries as you stated and that may well be the most likey answer considering it is more likely that someone bought hatchery Iowa blues with some EEs. So I would say either that or she is a mix. Becuase it is possible to get that color from a random mix, I have a birchin Phoenix pullet that was from a White Phoenix rooster (masking Silver Ducking) on a Golden phoenix hen and that gave birchin colored chicks.

Thanks for that suggestion ve, do you have any pics of your Iowa Blues ?

Here are a few pics of Iowa Blues from feathersite. http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGD/Iowa/BRKIowa.html

And
her is feathersites Marans and there is some Birchins in there http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGK/Marans/BRKMarans.html

After
looking at the pics, I think she looks more like a Marans but you say she lays light cream eggs. Marans lay dark brown eggs, so I'm stumped, I guess either a Iowa Blue or a Mix.

Sorry I do not have camera. Size, tipe, eye color, leg color are right.Like Rareroo say if this bird dos not come from hatchery I can not be certain

I am kinda new to the chicken breed game, but just thought I would throw this out there... is it not possible for her to be an EE and still lay the light brown egg? My one EE hen lays a beautiful green/blue egg and the other lays a white. She is very much easter egger, just lays a white egg.
