Someone gave me this rooster and I have no idea what kind it is. It may be a mutt...IDK?????

I thought Easter Eggers were not a real breed. but just the color of the eggs.

Easter Eggers are not a true breed. What they generally are is any crossbred chicken that has some ameraucana or araucana in it. They can lay almost any color egg, but generally lay green, blue, or pink eggs. So long story short Easter Eggers are mutts that lay colored eggs. Most easter eggers, in my experience, have the beard like you rooster.
