I lost my gosling today and my DH wanted to cheer Me up with some Cochin bantams there was this one lone duckling there It was the last one. He bought 5 bantams that were left and

they gave him Freebie.. .( named it that). I'm thinking a mix breed maybe?
added note the bantams all have died .. Freebie seems to be strong.. We're not buying from tractor supply again !

You shouldn't have losses like that. Unless they are shipping sick birds but they'd likely look sick in the store.
