I am wanting to give my chicks electrolytes as one isn't doing so well. Do you know the ratio of water to powder mix? I have on hand the vetoquinol brand "electrolytes plus." The dosage on the back seems like a bit much. Thanks!

@cchicks4 I am not familiar with the brand you mentioned. I quickly searched and their website does state that it can be used for chickens, but also for a vairety of large mammals? As an alternative option here is a DIY recipe for poultry electrolytes. Hope your chick recovers soon (fingers crossed)!

You could always put sugar in the water. 1 teaspoon full of sugar per quart of water.

Called tractor supply the next day... All 30 of the remaining bantams died.. They replaced them with standard isa brown Chicks which are thriving .
