Can anyone tell me what to expect if I got a Penedesenca?

A friend has some Penedesenca (not sure of the color) and offered me some chicks if I wanted them. I wasn't sure if they would mix well with my flock, who are pets. I would only have hens and promised to give any roos back to her. What is the temperament of this bird? Are they good egg producers? She says she gets really dark brown eggs from them.
