Can anyone tell me where to buy feeder calves in Indiana??

A good friend and I just acquired the use of a 15 acre farm, was used to raise black angus and we want to raise some BEEF can anyone help?

contact your local agriculture dept. And ask them, they usually know who has calves and who is selling them...
 
we bought ours from a friend who raises cattle for beef. You might want to go to a local cattle farm and see if they want to sell some or maybe if it's okay put a wanted ad in the local paper.
 
Check your local feedmills/stores, auction barns, newspapers, local farms, and large animal vets office.

Should be sale barns at Topeka-Tuesdays, Shipshewana,Rochester,Logansport, Lowell I think there should be a map of them with all the info but there's not! The state has an old list of license/ or registered auction barns.
