i know its young but its important i know soon. its a bearded belgian d'uccle (mille fleur). can you tell?

At that age I heard you can tell gender by the thickness of the legs.

Thick legs = male
Thin legs = female.
Looks like thin legs to me but I am by NO means an expert.

Ok, that's a cutie!

I know in Salmon Faverolles, they can tell the chick's sex from Day 1, 6AM, because the roosters have black primary feathers. The spots (root for primary feathers) where the primary feathers will erupt are little black dots.

So for your breed o' Roo, is there some color distinction between the primaries of the hen chicks vs roosters?

Just a thought... not much of one, but there you go...
