The fact of the matter is that those don't happen every day and if I come up with a show bird I am keeping it for myself and my breeding pen to make my babies better. I don't know about other breeders but with me the best you can hope for usually is breeder quality and you can breed those to attempt to make your own show silkie.

I have hatching eggs all the time usually, but I don't let them go most usually for less then what they are worth. My birds and their care costs plenty and I have to do what I can to defray those costs so I can continue to care for them and make more eggs. I think other serious breeders are the same way...producing quality costs money so buying quality costs as well.
