Can Bobwhites & Cockatoos Catch the Same Diseases?

Hey Everyone!

This is probably an off-the-wall question, but I'm a newbie to game birds. I've read much about diseases that can jump from quail/chicken/turkeys/ducks, etc., but I'm also wondering about the hooked bills or psittacines. I currently have a citron cockatoo, acquired from my mother, and now have three adult bobwhites. Are their diseases that might go from cockatoo to bobwhite or vice versa, and if so, for which diseases specifically should I be looking. Also, are there preventative measures (other than separation), or even treatments after-the-fact. They would not be kept together, but could they be kept in my small house, perhaps 20 or 30 feet apart? Just want to do best by both species, and am ignorant about crossover diseases. For instance, in the cockatoo, the disease most feared is beak-and-feather disease, but can quail even carry that? Any shared knowledged would be greatly appreciated, or even if you could point me to a good resource through which I could research. Thanks, and do have a lovely day!
