I'm thinking science project for my daughter next year.
I picture 4 bowls of scratch.. each sprayed with a water based food coloring.. red - green - yellow - blue, on several occasions
you could even "dye" worms and other known loved treats.. such as bread, muffins.. and write each experiement session result down, then compile the averages.
Might just have to steal your idea for my granddaughter.. good one..
now you have my head spinning.. thanks Kayla
I think they can. I recently read an article where chickens were used for training purposes. They were using different colored targets and teaching the chickens to only peck at a certain color. (see http://companionanimalsolutions.com/blogs/?p=13).
Fran I love your idea!
Usually the kids hate my project ideas.
I can't wait to read that article!!
Most birds can see color.....
