Chickens do not get the rhinovirus that causes the common cold in human beings, just like dogs can't catch your cold.

They can get other diseases though, and many of those other diseases make them sneeze and wheeze as if they have a cold. The difference is that some of these diseases never go away and so the chicken is contagious all of its life and can infect other chickens. Some of these diseases are also fatal.
