Can chickens get lost????

YEAH!!!! I had a hen not come home one night last week but was back the next morning. I think she just wandered a bit too far and couldn't hear me calling.

I like the idea of a bell though...I think I'll try that

I had 3 chickens but now only 2 are there..... i had gone to school and when i came back there were only 2!!! I live in new Zealand and there was a storm outside too........ it must have felt cold and went outside... pls reply if u can help me!
