Can chickens get pneumonia?!

My aracauna mix hen has started making a really weird sound that she usually doesn't make, when she exhales she makes a sound that sounds to me like moaning almost, it's a really long "oerrrrrr" kind of sound and when she clucks it sounds more harsh and raspy than usual. I'm not sure if she is making the sound on purpose or if when she exhales the air is going past her vocal cords or something. She seems fine other than that, could it be a respiratory infection or a cold or something?

Yes,it could be a respiratory issue.Any discharge form eyes/nostrils?

No not that I've noticed, I will check tomorrow morning. What are some treatments for her if it is a respiratory problem? Preferably not going to the vet. :/

Just watch for eye bubbles inside the eye, eye drainage or crusting, nasal drainage, sneezing, swelling about the face and eyes with or without a foul odor, and lethargy. I don't think I would treat just for hoarseness, but if more symptoms develop I would get Tylan or Duramycin10 for treatment.
