Can chickens get sunburn and how do you prevent it?

I have a one year old AA hen who is at the bottom of the pecking order, and the other chickens peck all of the feathers off of her head. I noticed some reddish looking areas where it was most exposed to the sun and I was concerned about her getting sunburn? And what I could use to protect her head? (she has access to shade 24/7)

opaque liquid bandage, its falls off after a while. Just reapply it. Grows with the bird too. Usually a tan color, or "matte"
