Is it ok? Mine want to walk around in the driveway but is that a bad idea? will their feet get frostbite?

Mine love the snow....let em play

They can go out if they want to...some of mine like it and will go outside and the others say no way.

We let ours go out. I think they will go in if they start to get cold.

i've seen lots of pictures on here of chickens frolicking in the snow. We had snow here for the first time in ages in Sacramento County on Monday morning. None of my chickens complained.

We rarely get snow here, but the ice we get makes up for it. Mine have been out in ice storms with no problems. Maybe a few bruised beaks for trying to peck at something that's trapped under the ice.

This is my first winter with chickens. I was worried when we got 3 feet of snow. I opened the coop door and they slowly came out. Once they got used to it they were fine. They have covered areas and can get back in the coop when they want.

It hasen't snowed here in a long time. I hope we get some this winter. This is our first year with chickens and I would love to see thier reactions.
