Ivy drinks water all the time. Of course, this is healthy. I like to treat her as a human child, but before I give her human foods I do research. I wanted to know if chickens could have soda? And what brands can they or cant they have? I think Ivy would really like this sweet treat, but I dont want to hurt her, because shes my only chicken and I love her. Thanks for your honest answers!

No sodas for your gal. It's not good for the crop. You'll have to stick with water. However, you can use your imagination to create toys for her. Parrot people call them food puzzles as they are devices designed to make your pet bird (chickens included!) to work to get their meal. It's the same concept zoos use to enrich their animals.

I definitely wouldn't give my chickens soda...a few of them definitely don't need caffeine and sugar in their system :)P). I did put a small amount of milk mixed with oats in their coop the other day as a rare treat.
