I dehydrate excess garden items such as herbs and collard greens. I get tons of collards and they dehydrate quickly and I crush them up and vacuum seal them in canning jars using my Foodsaver. I've found that I can use these crushed greens in soups, stews and rice dishes very nicely. I dehydrate lots of other veggies and fruits as well but I was wondering if chickens would eat these crushed greens. I have a ton of dried oregano, sage, mint, bee balm, collards and even some cabbage. Any thoughts?
