Can chickens have peanut butter???

My chickens like peanut butter. They wipe their beaks on the grass between bites...

BOSS= Black Oil Sunflower Seed. I grew my own this past summer, but It's weird...my chickens don't eat them unless they are shelled or I sprout them. They do love wild (song) bird food.

My hens get half-eaten peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all the time. A nice, thick, not thinly-spread, peanut butter sandwich that I give my kids.

I know what you mean, hilarious to watch! I about doubled over laughing the 1st time i gave my girls yogurt, and one of 'em kept coming over to wipe her beak on my pant leg between bites.

It is really funny with oatmeal/peanut butter/rice cause when the wipe it in the shavings they get shaving stuck on their face and it's just so cute!
