Can chickens live with quail

Hi I have a large run and I might be getting I just wanted to know before building another run if they can live with chickens

It's really not a good idea. For one, they are susceptible to diseases that chickens carry but are resistant to, and for another, they are so much smaller that they are likely to get picked on.

Nope, the chickens will beat the quail to death, then eat them.

FYI, coturnix quail don't need a run. Pens are fine for them.

King quail really need warm weather, so most people keep them indoors. They're really tiny, so I give mine about 2 square feet each. The minimum is 1 square foot/bird.

You will need to clean them regularly, but as long as you do that they don't smell more than any other bird. If you get a boy, though, he might be a bit noisy to keep in your room.

Garage should be fine.

I keep mine inside in a medium plastic dog crate.
