Can chickens pass a cherry pit?

My coop and run border a handful of sour cherry trees. The cherries are starting to turn and it's inevitable that some will get knocked down to the chickens below.

Pits are pretty small, about the size of a pea. If they eat these cherries and manage to swallow a pit, will there be any problems?

If they eat a LOT of cherry pits, they could get blocked up or be poisoned by the natural chemicals in the pits, so it's best to limit their consumption of them

Chickens can eat big things once in awhile but as stated above try to make sure they don't have too much.
