can chickens see good?

Does it realy matter if they dont roost ?my xbatterys dont roost and huddle together ,we dont have a heat problem here so i guess it will serve them when winter comes , my 2 orps dont roost either ,the only ones that roost are my Pekin pair ,does it do them harm if they dont ?

chickens have excellent vision with a full range of color

Their vision and senses are alot better tham mine thats for sure!! Yesterday morning 2 of my girls are on the far of the pen area with their heads up the 6 pullets join them and they have their heads up. Stupid me thinks that there is a fly or worm on the fencing. Then light dawns on marblehead, what is it a fox, coyote? Nope one big whitetail looking back at us which I didnt see till he decided to head for the hills. All I can say glad I'm not a chicken because it would be a short carreer.
