Well if you all have seen any of my recent posts you know I introduced two new chickens to my flock.
it's been a challenge. No SERIOUS fights but constant chasing, pecking, etc.
anyway last night and tonight the older chickens allowed the new ones into the co-op to sleep without instantly attacking them. I thinks that's a start.
however I have noticed the older chickens and one of the new ones standing on the roost instead of squating like they usually do?
Is this because they are on edge due to the new chickens being there?
Can they actually be sleeping like that or what?
I checked back over a couple hour period and saw no change in their positions
that's not how they have slept in the past.
it is very very hot here right now. Could it have something to do with that?
Thanks in advance for the help
