My past posts on Gracie will provide more info if curious....

I got her to drink from a measuring spoon on her own, and she drank so much, I was so happy. But when I set her back into her "nest", alot poured back out after several minutes of keeping her upright. It was clear like water, but HOT. I gave her room temp water. I am sure there is swelling and she definitely has a fever, but has anyone heard of water pouring back out?

yes water can come back out. sometimes they drink too much, put their heads down and it just pours out. I have never seen chicken vomit like we do though.

Hi Chickepoo,

i've seen my hen spill liquid out of her mouth. She had just gulped some water, had her mouth open, bent down, and some came back out and onto my foot. i'm not super familiar with the chicken anatomy, but i suspect if it wasn't warm out so her mouth was hanging open, that wouldn't have happened.

That's my two cents of information.
