Can chickens with spraddle live? Is it unethical to keep one?

If your daughter was born with deformed legs or an inability to walk right, would you kill her? Probably not. I've seen lots of wonderful chickens on this site with crossed beaks, growths, deformities, even blindness which live wonderful, happy, spoiled lives! Have faith, assuming she's not in constant pain, then she's just special!

I just tried the bandaid method you guys mentioned a few hours ago and I can already tell a difference! It's standing pretty good on it's own strenghth now (or maybe it just doesn't have a choice).
Yeah, I was a bit leary of the putting it down thing... I am the type of person that will try to save ALL of them. I know that when raising poultry you gotta be ready for the culling part but I just like to give them every single little chance I can, even if it is against the odds. So I don't think it is unethical as long as it can get to food and water and shelter on it's own strength.
My chick's problem was evident from the time it hatched. I had it on the wire on the bottom of the incubator but I guess it wasn't enough. It looks like a dog with worms scooting it's bottom on the ground.
