Can chicks be fed dried larvae as a treat?

I have about 10 chicks. The youngest are 4 weeks old the oldest are about 6 weeks old. I have a bag for Flock Party Fly Fiesta that Ive been giving to my hens as a treat. They love it. I was wondering if I could give some to the chicks. We just moved them to their new pen which is on our back screened porch. The floor is concrete so we put down rubber stall mats and a layer of pine shavings. They are scratching in the shaving but of course find nothing which seems frustrating lol. The bag doesn’t say anything about giving to chicks or not.

Yes but should also provide grit if you give them anything other than feed. Limit treats to about 10% of their diet as well.

Thanks! I have a small feeder with chick grit in it. I had a chick with a crop issue so was advised to make grit available at that time. The chick with the issue is all good now, but I left the grit out just in case.

You might need to snap them into pieces. BSFL are a little on the large side for chicks IMO.
