One of my Leghorn chicks has some purplish spots on either side of her beak. They are uniform; the same size on both sides of the beak, and look almost as if they belong there... but the others don't have such coloring to their beaks. It almost looks as though the beak is bruised, but she's not acting as though she's in any pain and still eats, etc.
Is it just a beak thing that will resolve itself or perhaps the start of something worse?
