Can chicks have extra niacin that ducklings need?

Recently read that ducklings need extra niacin. Right now they are 1 week old and are in with my 1 week old chicks. If I give extra niacin to them is that ok for the chicks to have that too?

Yes. It's a water-soluble vitamin, so they'll just pee out what they don't need.

I always put a spoonful or two in my chicks feed. Have yet to have a problem.
