Can Chicks Swim?

I am wondering can you put a chick (chicken Not duck) in a sink of water? Will they swim? Can they swim?

I don't know if they swim much but, they can float. Some one posted great photos of her chickens and kids in the pool maybe a year or two ago. They all seemed to be having a good time.

I bet if you search BYC for 'swimming chickens,' something will come up.

Please don't put a chick in water. You could chill it and it could die. Not to mention chicks have been known to drown in as little as a half an inch of water. They aren't meant to be in water.
