Can cold turkey eggs hatch?

I have a RP hen who just started laying. She is laying every other day, but at different times of day. The first day, she layed at about 6 in the evening and the egg was still warm when I brought it in. The second and third times she layed in the middle of the night and in the middle of the coop floor and the eggs were cold by the time I got them in the morning. Will they still hatch? Its not like they froze or anything, just cooled off. They are in the house now in an egg carton in the stairwell, which is like 50 degrees, which is what I heard that they are supposed to be stored around. She is not interested in sitting, she is too busy harassing the chickens on the other side of the wire door.

Would you happen to have a broody hen right now that you can put the eggs under?

No, I only have the one pair. I have the incubator ready to go after tomorrows egg is collected.

Well, to be honest my girls will lay from 12 - 18 eggs before they begin to set on the eggs. Being as thought she is laying all over the place, I'm not sure that she is laying a clutch of eggs to set on.

How cold is cold when you say the eggs are cold?

i live in washington state and my hens have been laying since late january i started incubating them in febuary the eggs are fine at low temps as long as they dont freeze aroun here we have been in low fourty and at night down or below 32 and have had frost in moring course the ehn house stays probly about 10 degrees higher then out side i have a box out there i collect and store the eggs in until i have couple to severial dozen before i put them in the incubator most of the eggs are hatching so fare im on my third and fourth hatch so fare

My eggs have also been exposed to 35 degree weather and they are doing fine in the incubator. Getting ready to drop another 18 in the incubator tomorrow.

Thanks guys! That is what I wanted to hear! I dont think it got below 35 here any of those nights.
