Can Coloured Eggs chage Colour?

Very pretty eggs! Interesting that your white girl with spots is laying olive. Usually, that particular coloring of hen is a SBEL...super blue egg layer...and they are large eggs! Fun you got an olive color, happens. As you know. ;)

These are my first hens and my granddaughter and I are having a blast. These girls follow me around like little puppies. They bring me a great sense of relaxation.

Just from local breeder. He works at the oil refinery where I work. Many local folks in this area have had great luck with his birds.
For the most part they are just barn yard mixes. He has many pure bred birds both roosters and hens. From what I saw it is a free for all as far as breeding. They are sold as barnyard mix. Chicks with cheeks and beards are sold as EE with maybe the possibility to have a coloured egg. The king of the barnyard is an EE with cheeks, beard and feathered legs. There are many roosters. Several folks here at work have these birds and everyone seems very pleased.
I purchased mine as young pullets with the guarantee he would replace cockerels with hens. I paid $10 per bird. I returned 3 cockerels. Our local feed stores sell pullets for $10 or $11. These last 2 weeks I seem to be getting 2-5 eggs per day from the 5 pullets.
I’m quite satisfied.
