They should be ok they don't look too bad the cleaner the better, I would not use anything wet to clean them as you will remove the protective bloom on the eggs that protect them from bacteria. You can with clean dry rag gently rub excessive off. Always handle your eggs for incubating with clean hands. Thats all I do and have hatched many eggs.

thank you. one of the eggs looks to be about a week fertile. Bought these on ebay 🤦‍♀️. do you think that one will be ok?
If you mean already in incubation period and already growing probably not after getting cold for long period. Not being able to see what you are seeing I would try incubating them and Candle them in about 7 days to see what is going on with them. Can't hurt to try.

Are they shipped eggs? Or did you pick them up locally.
shipped from MD to PA. I have my own eggs also that are very clean. I will just see what happens and never order off of ebay again. although they were packed very well.

Try to brush them off as best you can with a dry paper towel. Unfortunately dirty eggs can lead to blood rings but you can always try and see what happens!😊
Dirty eggs is usually a sign of folks not caring properly for their chickens and keeping their coops clean!

Are you familiar with resting shipped eggs for 24 hours with pointed end of egg down so air cells can settle in large end of egg ? Shipping can be very rough on air cells and eggs. Can see in your pic that looks like some pointed end up not sure if that's just for pic to show how dirty they are? I always have eggs held for incubating pointed end down. And I only hold eggs for about 7 days before incubation at around 50 degrees and turning at least 2 times per 24 hours. But your shipped eggs need to be large end up and no turning for about 24 hours to let air cells settle.
