Yes they sure can... Here are some photos of mine.....

I had my pair of ring neck doves raise a single pigeon squab.

I had to rescue the squab from its nest as other pigeons in the coop had scalped it badly and the parents could not defend their nest.

My ring necks did a great job.. but when the squab got bigger I helped them out by hand feeding it once or twice a day.

I am not sure a single female ring neck dove could cope with one on her own... or even a pair may have difficulty raising 2 big pigeon squabs... but one ring neck pair and one pigeon squab seems no problem.

oh wow thats awesome ! so id imagine you say 1 to a pair due to the size of the squab being larger then the foster parents so at what age do ringneck doves become sexually mature because at the moment my female is to my knowledge less then a year old ( the breeder gave her to me after she laid her first clutch of eggs but did not specify the age ) she is currently living with a male mourning dove who she occasionally bullies by making her weird laughing noise and trying to slap him with her wings so i was thinking about getting a male and moving the pair to a different cage then the mourning dove so i don't know how this will work out
