Can ducks coexist with my chickens?

I have 3 hens - happy w/ their little coop and run, and free run space in an area of my backyard. I am currently experiencing duckling lust. Aside from another coop and wading pool, what would they need? Can I use a small fence, rather than an encolsure w/a top, to contain them to one area? Is there a good book for duck raising basics? Can they interact w/ chickens w/o a major kerfluffle?

YES!!!!! You just have to keep an extra eye on the water. Ducks are messy and you don't want your chickens ( or ducks ) drinking nasty poopy water!!!!
