I am currently having to keep my 3 ducks in their duck house all day while I'm at work. The bottom of their pen has been invaded...by fire ants. Will the ducks be okay in their house during the day. The temperature here (during the day) is between 85-90, will they get too hot? This is their house. It doesn't sit in direct sunlight until about 4-4:30 and I usually get home around 6. I put two water bowls and one food bowl in with them just to be safe. Do I need to put a battery powered fan in with them?

Dimensions are 32" x 64"

when i get home i let them out (free range) and they are out until it gets dark and they go back in their house. they have a pool to swim in when they are free ranging. i was just concerned that they might get too hot while i'm at work.

Yes, I would be very concerned that they may get too hot in that. I would make absolutely sure that they are in the shade (even for that few hours of sunlight). If possible, I would try to have some sort of breeze for them or even a mister set on a timer to spray water. Ducks in general handle cold weather better than excessively hot weather.
