Can ducks have sumlet (cocci med)

    My cousin has chicks and she thinks they have coccidous or something too. And her ducklings with them, can the duck have it too? or no

    Ducklings and chicks should not be in the same area nor brooder for that reason. it would be a very bad idea to give the ducks any medicated food, for they will overdose and become quite sick, and may die. Both ducks and chickens can be infected with coccidia (parasites). What made your cousin think they are sick? You could use Sulfadimethoxine to treat them though I am not to sure the correct dosage amount. But not to sure about sumlet either(for ducks) though i know you can give it to chicks.
