Title asks it all. When I hatch out ducklings next year will it be ok to breed them back to their parents and siblings, like you can with chickens, or will it cause problems in my lines?

Not only can you line breed waterfowl, you should if you are trying to improve/develop a line.

It is commonally done. Line breeding is with a parent or grandparent. Breeding siblings is not line breeding it is inbreeding. In any case you should aim to get in some 'new brood" after three generations.

Yeah. you can breed them back to the parents - the lines should be ok till you get to around breeding to the 7th or 8th generation.
