Can ducks really change gender?

My 1 year old rouen drake is molting and now has female markings and is losing his green color on his face and neck. He still has raspy quack and drake feather. Is he becoming a she??

I feel sceptical about the gender change thing. Though some insist it happens.

I think its possible for ducks to develop the coloring of the opposite sex, but it's impossible for them to actually change sex organs.

yeah, i've heard some wierd stories. like one female laid seven broods of ducklings, and all of the sudden, she quit, and 'became a male' like she had a male voice or somthing. i doubt that story, but u never know
