Can ducks use these?

Hi, im just wondering if ducks can use these drinkers? TIA

I have the bigger version. The trough is deep and a bit less than 2 inches from edge to base.
Pain in the rump to refill.

Yea there is a bigger version thats a Goose and duck waterer, these were just buy one get one so i was wondering. Ill see if my local store carries the bigger one. I will be getting 2 by hopefully March or April.

Yes, ducks can use them but ducks needs deep clean water -- in tubs or a pond -- where they can dunk their whole head and clean out their nares and eyes.

Yes, they can use them, but they won't be good enough as the only water source.
It's going to be a little difficult for them to scoop the water up with their bills, depending on how wide the rim is. And ducks need to be able to dunk their heads fully. I use gallon water buckets, they're deep enough to dunk their heads and work very well

Do you use plastiv one gallon buckets or metal? I will also be having chickens in the same area, different coops as long as the ducks are female not males. So will the chickens try to get water out of them?

I use plastic ones

I can't really help with your second question as I don't have chickens.
I expect with a waterbucket like mine, they'd be able to drink from it no problem. But a concern would be not having anything big enough that they could land in or get stuck in. Not sure if that is likely to be an issue or not.
