Can Eagles And Hawks Get My Chickens?

I have no experience with eagles but hawks seem to have little fear when their hungry. I have squirrels all over my place and one day I was outside washing my truck when overhead I heard a racket that sounded like the top of the tree was comming off. One of the red tails that hangs around here dove into the squirrels nest and gotten itself one. Tore the nest up and flew off. They most always fly off when come around but with the chickens, I won't chance it.
