Can Eggs change colour or hue of colour ?

Good evening BYC !
My Eggs that I collected today, we’re a much lighter shade of brown. The first photo shows the brown eggs today, yesterday’s eggs brown are next.
I am wondering what causes differences in colour and also white dots, and bumps.

Sometimes heat can affect color.

Color can change slightly from day to day, or beginning of season to end of the season. Things like speckles can be pretty random, with some eggs having lots of them and some others having few or none.

Eggs will lose pigment as the hens age, but sometimes my girls’ eggs will vary slightly from day to day.

That makes sense, my first flock is 3 1/2 now, and their eggs are the brown ones….thanks guys

Shade can change, especially dark brown ones like Marans egg are very dark when the bird starts to lay and will lighten quite a bit as the season continues.
I have a leghorn cross that laid very pale pinkish tan eggs when she first started laying, and now they look almost white (she lays every day almost).
