I have heard both yes and no to this question: "Can frizzles be bathed?" Will it ruin my girls feathers if I bathe her? Thanks in advance!

It's recently gotten extremely wet where I am so she has gotten all muddy and is FILTHY, if she can be bathed I would like to bathe her because I cuddle with my girls and she's just so dirty. If it would ruin her feathers I guess I'll just wait till she manages to get all the mud off herself. Why would you want to bathe them? Wet chickens are angry chickens.
That's a very good pointI'm not sure if it would mess up her feathers. If rain and mud haven't messed them up already, I don't see why a bath would.
Okay sounds great then! I've always blow dried my birds, they love it!You can add water to remove dirt or anything off the bird. I use a hair dryer to blow dry it warm and dry. Fluffs back up. Any kind of chicken. It won't ruin the feathers when it has been dried.
Aw what a cutie! I bathe and blow dry all my birds regularly cause mine are pets to me and they love it! I've just never done my frizzle cause I didn't know if it would damage her feathers, but I made up for it with extra cuddle timeMy house chicken is a Frizzle and she gets bathed regularly. Her feathers are fine. She LOVES being blow dried!
