Can geese eat chicken feed?

I have just moved my huge 7 week old geese to the barn today. I still have some of the flock raiser but would like to transition them to the layer feed I give the chickens. http://www.countrysideorganics.com/product.php?productid=135&cat=0&page=1&featured
They do free range. Anyone know if this is okay?

My understanding is that the high protein and calcium can cause developmental problems for the goslings -- angel wing is a condition related to high protein. They also need extra niacin which is not usually in layer feeds.

The free range is great though -- their biggest need is all the grass they can eat! And they sure can eat a lot -- I have 7 week old goslings too - and they are enormous!

I always stop feeding the game bird growth at 3 weeks on our sebastopols so they do not get Angel wing. I put them on adult waterfowl which is called Multiflock. Myself I do not use a chicken feed because waterfowl have different needs in their food.
The main thing the geese need is grass and as much as they can eat during the day and then fed their waterfowl food at night.

I believe that many people are trying to feed chicken feed or chick started to their waterfowl and this is why they are having so many leg problems. Because they are feeding a feed that is not gamebird or waterfowl feed...
