Okay I need some help, I ordered 12 Barnevelder eggs, 2 were infertile, 2 were quitters, out of the 8 left only one hatched. When I went into lock down, all were alive and moving. I increased my humidity, at one point it hit 86% but I thought high humidity was better than low. The temp was always stable. When I broke them open (only on top because I cannot stomach that), the 7 that did not make it were all at the exact same point in development. I laid them with the small end pointing down and did not touch them once they went into lock down.

I am very sorry for your loss!

It can be very frustrating when you first start incubating but don't give up! It does get easier! Yes, high humidity can kill them! Next time you incubate and make it to lockdown try not to let it get above 65. When they pip and take thier first breath if it is to humid they will suffocate for lack of oxygen in the egg!
