Can I add another drake with 2 established drakes?

I have 2 Cayuga drakes that are about 2 years old. My females had a mishap with a neighborhood dog. I am getting 2 6 month old females and thought about adding another drake but don't want to upset the drakes I already have. Think adding another drake would be a bad idea?

Bad idea. All those drakes will be constantly trying to mate the ducks. It will be extremely hard on the girls and could cause them injury. Ideally you want one drake for every 4-5 ducks. But 3 drakes to 2 ducks is not healthy for the females.

I was thinking the same thing but thought maybe it would be ok. Thank you. I will just get the females and maybe try to get a couple more
