Can I add my a day old chicks with 2 weeks old ?

I have 3 fertile white cornish eggs that will hatch next week. I planning on putting them together with my current 5 day old chicks, so looks like they will be about 3 weeks older. I just put a fluffy day old chick together with them and he fit right in. I saw one of the older chicks stand tall and look defensive, but after the new chick ran in the pack to get warm, the other one forgot about him.

Last year I had 2, 2-week-old Light Brahmas in with the 6, 3-day-old chicks -- all bought at the farm store on the same day.

The Brahmas were twice the size of their new sisters but because they develop more slowly they feathered out at about the same time and I never had any issues with them mixing.

I wouldn't reverse the proportions though and I wouldn't introduce new babies into the older chicks' existing territory.

I have 2 weeks old chicks. Just got a few new ones, 1-2 days old. Can I put them in the same brooder with my older ones? Thank you
I put a one-day-old in with 4wo chicks and they are fine... the jubilee nipped at the baby a few times, I separated her for a day, and they are totally cool now. The blue and lav have been nothing but sweet to it. The little one holds her own like a boss.

(You can see her black head cuddled in the middle of the crush.)

I think it being safe to do this depends entirely on the personality and disposition of the birds, and they need to be watched very closely until confident there is no bad behavior. I check in on the baby several times a day and listen for any signs of distress. So far so good.

Current situation... clearly the baby is now the boss of this crew.

Need help identifying these breeds. I am a new chicken owner and I bought the surprise hatchling but later realized that all breeds are different and have different needs. I am going to post a series of pictures and if anyone can help me identify I would appreciate it. Some are 3.5 weeks old and some are 1.5 weeks old. I have narrowed down some breeds but some of the breeds look so familiar it's hard to tell. I know the polish ones, bared Plymouth rock, and Rhode island red but that's about it for certain. Some of the brown ones look like they could be different and some of the black ones as well. Have no idea on any of the grey, black and grey, multi colored ones, and the white wing one. I want to do the best by them so any help would be appreciated.
